In Creve Coeur, it has been known that the Malcolm Terrace Park bridge needs to be replaced instead of just repaired due to structural issues. Recently it looks like the city may be partnering with MSD as the demolition of the bridge may damage sewer pipes. MSD will fund the replacement of approximately 130 linear feet of sewer lines and two manholes. As one would assume, there are not a lot of large undeveloped areas of Chesterfield to build homes on. As a result, new regulations are being added for infill housing projects. Infill projects are when underutilized or redeveloped lots are used to build new homes or construct additional units. The amendment for these would be for residential properties under 4 acres. Discussions on this have been going on but it was recently just approved. Congratulations to the Rockwood Transportation team! They earned a first-time pass rate of 99.2% in the annual Missouri’s State Highway Patrol school bus safety inspections. They are ranked high in Missouri as a result and also maintain its Fleet Excellence award from the state. Amazing job!!

BUSINESS OF THE WEEK: This week I’m highlighting Pana Coffee & Dessert Bar in Ballwin! It just opened in July and looks amazing. Located near Clayton and Kehrs Mill Roads, it features coffee and dessert, Greek style! The owner, Panayotis Stavrianos, has been around the restaurant, service industry for most of his life. His family ran Majestic Restaurant and Bar in the Central West End for many decades. I read in an article that he wants to bring high-quality coffee to St. Louis.
