WEST COUNTY NEWS
In Chesterfield at 14001 Olive Blvd (close to Hog Hollow Road), a proposed project for a 29.4 acre site called the Overlook has gone through another revision. Originally, it was pitched to be a 100 residential units, then went down to 81 and now they are proposing 59 units (35 would be single family detached homes and 24 single family attached homes). They are including preservation of more trees and landscape with a walking trail, native tree signage, fitness circuit and more. Approval is still pending. Also, did you know that the Chesterfield’s website includes a page dedicated to new developments? Here is the link in case it interests you. https://www.chesterfield.mo.us/677/Active-Developments A new Swig (dirty soda store) location will be opening up at Mason and Manchester. You may be wondering what a “dirty soda” is…I have two tween daughters and it’s quite a popular drink where you mix soda with flavored syrups and creamers. There are lots of variations at Swig and they have been expanding like crazy. Originally out of Utah. I’ll share the opening date when I know it! A congratulations is in order for the Principia girls basketball team who won the school’s first ever state basketball championship. Very exciting for them and the school…great job girls!!
