Faraci Pizza: Business of the Week

This week I’m highlighting Faraci Pizza in Ellisville!!  If you are a West County native then you’ve probably heard of Faraci Pizza and know how amazing it is.  If you haven’t, this is for you!

If you are new to St. Louis, I’m sure it hasn’t taken you long to figure out we are definitely a pizza kind of town.  Especially thin crust pizza…  Ellisville is lucky to be the home of one of the best pizzas in West County, and in my opinion, the greater St. Louis area.  The crust, the sauce, the cheese and fresh toppings all make it perfection.  What is even better about them is there story.

Joseph and Dorothy Faraci started their pizza business in 1968 in small shop located in Ferguson.  Fast forward to 1992, Joseph and Dorothy’s son Vince decided to open a location in Ellisville (the current location).  The other son, Pete, stayed in the Ferguson location.  Pete joined Vince out in Ellisville after his parents retired in 1998.

The way Joseph and Dorothy made the pizza way back in 1968 is the same way it’s made today, which is full of fresh, made-from-scratch ingredients. I was on their Facebook page recently and loved reading stories of people that have been frequenting Faraci Pizza since the 60s and 70s.  That definitely says something about their food and service!

If you are looking for a new pizza place to try out, you definitely need to check Faraci Pizza out!  Support local businesses!
