This week I’m highlighting Wildflour Artisan Bakes!! Erin Coats is the small-batch baker behind Wildflour and she bakes amazing breads and pastries! I ran across her as she is at the Wildwood Farmers Market and also follow her on social media. She is currently a pop-up baker with hopes to open up a brick-and-mortar store in the near future.
She’s always been a food-enthusiast and especially has a deep love for European-style pastries and artisan breads. From delicious croissants in a variety of flavors like Pecan Pie, Apple Pie, Ham & Cheese, Chocolate to sourdough country loaves, to Cruffins which are buttery croissants rolled in a muffin shape then rolled in sugar, your mouth will water just looking at pictures of them.
The menu is part seasonal too so new flavor creations are always being made and offered. For example, in the September Wildwood Farmers Market she had Apple Fritters, Tarte tatin croissants, blackberry cornbread cookies, and fig bars. Just this past weekend for the farmers market she had black forest brownies, pecan pie croissants, carrot cake, salted caramel pretzel chip cookies & browned butter pumpkin pie cookies. I am officially hungry now!!
Check out her socials and her website to see her amazing creations and order today or check her out at the Wildwood Farmers Market! It’s a great time of year as well to treat yourself or surprise someone with delicious pastries. As always, it’s a great time to support local businesses too!
