In Wildwood, residents have continued to worry about safety on Old State Road. Recently, the St. Louis County Council passed legislation that will reduce the speed limit with 45 mph to 35 mph along the section of Old State and Ridge Road at the Ellisville city limit. There is also going to be installed a high friction surface treatment on part of Old State from Old Fairway Drive to Hwy. 109. Hope everyone stays safe out there! There is a new sport growing in popularity and that’s esports (electronic sports- organized multiplayer online video game competitions). Just recently CBC’s esports team won first in two competitions at the second annual St. Dominic High School Esports Classic.
WHAT WE’RE LOVING THIS WEEK
BUSINESS OF THE WEEK: Old House in Hog Hollow located in Chesterfield! This place has such a great concept with wine tastings, events and music. Plus they have elevated their menu and it will be released starting October 2nd. They are located on Olive in Chesterfield in a historic home dating from 1859. In recent years under new owners, they have re-energized the place and have created a warm and cozy atmosphere for enjoying wine, eating delicious food, and listening to music. They are open for breakfast and lunch Wednesday through Sunday from 10am-4pm. As mentioned above, they are releasing a new menu October 2nd which consists of things like spinach artichoke dip, Zizi’s Meatballs, Farmhouse salad with homemade dressings, Chicken Salad sandwich, Triple Club sandwich, French Dip and desserts of the week.
