WEST COUNTY NEWS

One of the events above is the first of its kind, The BurgerFest at The District. It’s sponsored by 4 Hands Brewery, Hi Pointe and many others. 100% of proceeds go towards the Veterans Community Project which aims to end veteran homelessness. Great event to check out! Recently, new bump out concrete islands were installed along parts of Clarkson Road and Long Road in Ellisville, Clarkson Valley and Chesterfield. These are designed to slow drivers down and reduce the high number of accidents that happen on these busy roads. Some people are concerned that they will cause more accidents and local bicyclists have some complaints too. They are looking into some modifications with these. More to come on that.

WHAT WE’RE LOVING THIS WEEK

BUSINESS OF THE WEEK: Mi Lupita Mexican Restaurant in Ballwin! They have had quite a year marked by some major milestones. Earlier this year, they were named as one of America’s Best Restaurants and had a full feature interview. They also are celebrating 30 years in business this year. Lastly, they are moving locations early 2025. They will be moving into the old Candicci’s Restaurant on Holloway. Many have wondered what was going to go in there and now we know! Mi Lupita is known for their amazing home cooked food, drinks and wonderful service and atmosphere.
