WEST COUNTY NEWS
Exciting news from Tre Cuori Gelateria & Acai, located in Ellisville. I have posted about this amazing gelato small business before and recently read that the owner, Tassia Rezende participated in the Gelato World Masters in Rome in May and got 58th place. I think that number is amazing considering it’s a world competition! What flavor did she win with? Arachidi, which is a blend of peanut butter, dulce de leche and Belgian chocolate. Now I’m hungry for gelato!! In Wildwood, talks regarding how to best control the deer population continue to take place. Responses from the recent survey that was sent out to 1,600 random households was discussed recently. Overall, the majority was in favor of fixing the deer population. The disagreement was over how to best do it- hiring a professional company or resident hunting. It was also discussed on what the acreage requirement should be for bowhunting. Many say 3 acre minimum. More discussions will continue to occur regarding it. In Creve Coeur, the office building at 717 Office Parkway that has been vacant since 2021 is finally going to have some life brought back to it. Plans are to convert it into an IHG Voco Hotel.
