In Manchester, residents should be so happy as construction for the new playground is officially underway at Schroeder Park. The process in getting this approved and moving forward has taken a while…since 2019 to be exact. The big stumbling issue was storm water and it became a stormwater retention issue. That has all been worked through and they are aiming for a June 2026 opening. In Ballwin, concerns have been raised about video gambling machines being to easy to access by youth. Because they aren’t regulated by the Missouri Gaming Commission, they fall under a loophole that is hard to regulate. At the last Board of Alderman meeting, everyone unanimously agreed that regulation needs to occur but a process for that has not been decided on yet. Congratulations to the Parkway West Key Club on celebrating their 10 year anniversary. They are a service club of students that serves the community in many capacities like running blood drives and other health, nutrition and education events. Great job!!

I ran across her as she is at the Wildwood Farmers Market and also follow her on social media. She is currently a pop-up baker with hopes to open up a brick-and-mortar store in the near future.
