WEST COUNTY NEWS

In Chesterfield, plans are moving forward with a 16-unit multi-family building development in Chesterfield’s Wildhorse Village.  Also, on the north side of Olive and just east of Hog Hollow a new development has been approved that will include around 81 single family attached and detached homes.  Getting more living options in Chesterfield!  More Chesterfield news…a new extended stay hotel has been approved to add near the new Gateway Studios that they are opening up out in the Valley.  The hotel will be approximately 127 rooms and will be private and only for Gateway Studios guests.  Congratulations to Rockwood students on the robotics team, Force Green, that recently won first place in the Design Award at the First Tech Challenge World Championship which was held in Houston, TX!

WHAT WE’RE LOVING THIS WEEK

BUSINESS OF THE WEEK:  This week I’m highlighting Case de Tres Reyes in Des Peres! Today is Cinco de Mayo so of course I had to highlight a great local festive restaurant for the occasion.  Casa de Tres Reyes has an amazing Latin Chef named Ulises Lopez who has created really authentic menu options from Latin America. They have a Birria Menu which is a flavorful Mexican stew that they use in tacos and other menu items.  Read my blog post for more info about them!  Check them out soon!!
