SATURDAY, May 20th

• World Bee Day with Humble B Honey @ Wild Birds Unlimited (St. Charles)- 10:30am- Saturday is World Bee Day and to celebrate, you can visit this event to learn all about bees and even get to feel the vibration of a working bee hive.  Plus you’ll be able to sample raw honey and creamed honey – cinnamon, chocolate, blackberry, jalapeno, strawberry flavors!   https://fb.me/e/3lTLlVz6h

• MWJT Jeep Show / National Go Topless Day @ Hwy 61 Roadhouse (Webster Groves)- 1-4pm- Although this event is a little more central St. Louis, I thought it was such a fun, different kind of event to share.  If you’re into Jeeps, then you might already know it’s Go Topless Day with your Jeep.  Best in show prizes are available and there will be food!   https://fb.me/e/2pGsL2fbi

Sawmill BBQ Pub & Grill

It’s Monday so time to feature a West County business! This week, I’m highlighting Sawmill BBQ Pub & Grill! They recently opened up where the old Circa Pub & Grill was located right at Manchester and 270 (across from Rosalita’s). I haven’t had a chance to try it yet but it’s definitely on my list as I love BBQ. This is the second location with the first one being in Cahokia, IL. They decided to bring their slow-smoked meats to Des Peres and they’re getting great reviews. They have a full bar that is open late and plan to have live music. Four homemade BBQ sauces compliment their smoked meats. I especially can’t wait to try the White BBQ sauce which they say is a creamy blend of horseradish & garlic.
