The senior property tax relief program, which allocates $300K to purchase, install and store software necessary to allow St. Louis County residents to apply and submit documents online, was just unanimously approved by the County Council. By prepared, there are already sightings of the cicadas in Chesterfield this week. Experts say, they will stick around for 6 weeks and reach numbers in the billions. And a congratulations is in order for several Manchester police officers that were recognized for exemplary work during the Board of Aldermen meeting recently. Their names are Sergeant Nikki Priest, Detective Jeff Lang, and officers Josh Cockrell, Jim Logan, and Coty West.
WHAT WE’RE LOVING THIS WEEK
NEW Restaurant alert!! My business of the week is a brand new restaurant in Wildwood called The Local House Bistro. They are located on Manchester Road, just East of The Wildwood Town Center. They just opened last week and I look forward to checking them out. They are marketing themselves as a “casual eatery where comfort meets culinary creativity”. Their menu consists of pizzas, wraps, sandwiches, burgers and pastas. Two things caught my eye on the menu…fried pickles (yum!!) and a fried chicken dinner.
