Last weekend of March! We’ll be getting closer hopefully to more consistent nice weather over the next couple weeks and there will sure to be even more fun, outdoor local events to enjoy. Keep an eye for them and enjoy these this weekend….

In Chesterfield, the popular community garden located on Chesterfield Parkway by the Samuel C. Sachs Library is going to be dismantled due to recent sale of the land. 45 gardeners will be relocated now to an expanded Eberwein Community Garden. This is still in the works but it will have enough space for the 45 gardeners plus an additional 30. There is currently a waitlist of 80! Great news for local Chesterfield gardeners. Also in Chesterfield, you may remember that more than $300 million in TIF(tax increment financing) funds were approved by City Council in 2022. These funds were created for the Wildhorse Village and Downtown Chesterfield projects. It was just announced that $6 million will be allocated to upgrading Samuel C. Sachs library. Can’t wait to see the changes! Congratulations to the Parkway West Longhorns hockey team that won their first Wickenheiser Cup championship. They beat out the Rockwood Summit Falcons. Coach Brian Waddell is excited for what this means for the program going forward!

This coming Saturday, March 29 is National Mom & Pop Business Owner day and what better way to honor that by highlighting another local restaurant! Many of you probably already know and love the Truck Norris food truck. His success with his food truck led him to open up a brick and mortar store called Twisted Eats which is located in Ellisville.
