WEST COUNTY NEWS

In Manchester, they received three grants to aid police in traffic enforcement. It will help with overtime hours to curb speeding and aggressive driving, driving under the influence, and seatbelt violations. Some awesome Rockwood and Lafayette students had their work selected for this year’s St. Louis Artists’ Guild Young Artists’ Showcase which is showcased through March 30 at the Artists’ Guild, 12 N. Jackson Ave. in Clayton. There is a great local company to check out as well…Covenant Contracting. Clients are always asking me for referrals of contractors and this one is worth checking out. They donate 25% of their profits to help churches, pastors and missionaries- all places that are helping others. www.covenantcontractingstl.com

WHAT WE’RE LOVING THIS WEEK

Do you have young kids that love going to the movies? My business of the week is for you! At the B&B Theatres Creve Coeur West Olive 10 (located at Olive and Mason) they have a special room called screanPlay! which has a super fun playground (with a slide) and play area that kids can play 30 minutes before the movie starts. They can get all their energy out and then sit down ready for the movie. They do lock the play area once the movie starts so there is no incentive for the kids to go play instead of watch the movie. We were recently there and my kids had so much fun. Then you can relax in their super comfy, heated and reclining seats. Check them out for your next kids movie. Click Here to learn more!
