WEST COUNTY NEWS
Work continues on Downtown Chesterfield. Most recently, they are starting on the design phase for the grand entrance of Downtown Chesterfield. LJL Design & Engineering is the company that they have entered into an agreement with to do this design. A lot more work to be done but it’s fun to follow along with the progress. In Manchester, it was recently approved to purchase in-car patrol camaras. It was approved by the Manchester Board of Aldermen on July 6. A new mural is going to be coming to Route 66 (celebrating the centennial anniversary of it) on the water tower on Strecker Road at Manchester Road. There is some work that is needed to be done to the water tower before painting can begin but that is underway. The artist Ray Harvey will be completing it and everyone is looking forward to this fun project.
