As I mentioned in one of my posts, the Antiques Roadshow will be coming to St. Louis on May 13. More details to follow regarding location. Ellisville city council members were excited on Jan. 15 to hold their very first meeting in the new city hall and government center. A formal ribbon cutting ceremony will take place later in March. Congratulations to Addie Kane from Westminster Christian Academy for scoring 1,000 points in her career at Westminster. She set the goal of 1,000 her freshman year and saw it come to fruition in her senior year at a home game. So exciting! In Chesterfield, the Downtown Chesterfield Special Business District was approved and things are moving along. Downtown Chesterfield is expected to include 2,000 residential units, 300 room hotel, and more than 3 million sq ft of commercial space (office, retail and restaurants). First phase is slotted to be completed by fiscal year 2030.
WHAT WE’RE LOVING THIS WEEK
BUSINESS OF THE WEEK: Dogwood Social House!! They have two locations in West County…Ellisville and O’Fallon. They are also opening a South County location soon. To be very honest…I’ve never been here but after researching it, I’m definitely adding it to my list to visit! Dogwood is a destination all about games, food and fun. They have things such as arcades, billiards, shuffleboard, darts, axe throwing and more. Check out my blog post about all the game options they have.
