WEST COUNTY NEWS

Congratulations to Incarnate Word Academy Girls Basketball team for setting the national record for most consecutive wins at 140 games!! That has been over 5 different teams and speaks to the basketball program there. Amazing job girls!! In Chesterfield, the Chesterfield Valley Athletic Club ballfields are getting new bullpens and pitching mounds. There currently isn’t a secured place for pitchers to warm up so this will help out pitchers and reduce potential injury to others around. In new restaurant news, Bros Fish, Shrimp and More will be opening up in the former Jack in the Box location on Manchester in Wildwood. It will have Southern comfort food like po’boys, burgers, fried seafood and chicken. Yum!!

WHAT WE’RE LOVING THIS WEEK

BUSINESS OF THE WEEK: Rainforest Head Spa in Ellisville!! As soon as I read the name of this spa, I had to research it further…it is a spa just for your scalp! They will hydrate your scalp, detox it and apply all natural products that help promote healthy scalp and hair growth. What a different and neat concept for a spa. Who doesn’t love a good scalp massage?!? Owners have grown up in St. Louis and are excited to share this unique concept for a spa with everyone. Definitely putting them on my list to try.
