WEST COUNTY NEWS
Lots of fun took place over the holiday break with several area basketball tournaments. Congrats to the Red Knights from Incarnate Word who won first place at the 51st Visitation Tournament. That was their 16th first place trophy over the last 18 years. The St. Dominic Crusaders won the boys St. Dominic tournament and St. Charles West won it for the girls. Congrats to everyone!! We are so fortunate to have so many great hospitals in our area…three of our West County hospitals- BJC Missouri Baptist Hospital, Mercy Hospital St. Louis and St. Luke’s Hospital- made the list for the best hospitals in the nation for maternity care. Progress is slowly happening with Downtown Chesterfield at the old Chesterfield Mall. The next phase has officially started and includes installation of utilities and site grading. We won’t see vertical construction until approximately summer of 2027. Crazy to think that it’s almost a year from now!

BUSINESS OF THE WEEK: This week I’m highlighting Gamma Tree Experts! Maybe it’s the crazy warmer weather we’ve been having but sprucing up the yard has been on my mind. You might be thinking the same and you might need to schedule someone to come remove or trim up trees in your yard. Well, Gamma Tree Experts is a great local company to use for such a service!
