Want to own some chickens in Manchester? They are reevaluating their rules on keeping chickens on resident property in the city. Currently you have to have at least 2 acres and keep them in an enclosed area at least 150 feet from property line. There is a survey out there that closes on September 1 so cast your vote if you’d like. Ballwin has a new police captain, Curt Saitta. He has been with the Ballwin Police Department since 1988 and has done almost every uniformed position. Congrats to him! And a big Happy Birthday to two residents of Manchester that just turned 100…Loris Clifford turned 100 on July 2 and the Mayor made July 15 Loris Clifford Day for all her involvement in the city over the years. Damon Snow is the other resident that turned 100 on July 31. He is a Air Force WWII veteran and the Mayor made August 6 Damon Snow Day.

BUSINESS OF THE WEEK: Tre Cuori Gelateria & Acai located in Ellisville! They specialize in fresh gelato, authentic Brazilian Açaí bowls and other desserts like amazingly delicious brownies. The store itself is absolutely adorable and has such a nice cozy feel. The flavors they have in gelato are so unique and beyond good like truffled crumble pistachio, coconut almond, watermelon sorbet, salted caramel and so many more.
