In Chesterfield, with all the development of the new “Downtown Chesterfield” it has been released that St. Louis County Library Samuel C. Sachs branch will be completely demolished and rebuilt with an additional 3,900 square feet. It will also allow for more pedestrian and bicycle traffic as well as vehicular. Not sure on timeline yet. In Creve Coeur, where the old Kohn’s Kosher Deli was, a new shop has opened up called Pierce Creek. They are a butcher shop, market, and restaurant that serves local products including pasture-raised beef with no added hormones or unnecessary antibiotics from Pierce Creek Cattle Company. Definitely adding this on my list to check out! There is also a new Mexican restaurant coming to The District in Chesterfield Valley right at the corner of the HUB area. And let’s not forget the Dave’s Hot Chicken that opened up in Chesterfield Valley recently! So many new places to check out!
WHAT WE’RE LOVING THIS WEEK
BUSINESS OF THE WEEK: Bloom Mind & Body Co in Ballwin!! Although I have not personally used their services, I ran across their Facebook profile and found it so interesting. They are a company that specializes in helping woman (specifically moms and young adults) embark on a wellness journey through coaching/counseling and bodywork (massage, breathing techniques). They really want to bridge the gap between those two types of help in the wellness industry because…we need both! As a busy mom of four I can totally relate to the need to slow down and ‘fill my cup’. This place seems so perfect for that.
