WEST COUNTY NEWS
It’s official that on the Nov. 3 ballot the Parkway Board of Education has put the 46-cent tax levy. The additional money would be going towards staffing, academic programs, classroom resources, school safety, and towards long-term financial stability. The levy would cost a homeowner of a $400,000 home approximately $364 per year. I had mentioned a little while ago that a new restaurant called Sourdough & Co was coming to Des Peres. They are scheduled to open soon but they also plan on opening several other locations in the St. Louis area through the rest of this year. Popular Elby Donuts is also opening their additional location in Creve Coeur. Lastly, I can’t wait for Napoli Dolce to open out in the District Chesterfield. Congratulations to Grace Matthews, Charlie Sgarlata, and Anna Ramsey from Westminster for being awarded Class 2 All-State honors for soccer!
