While I was at the Lego convention the other week at Queeny Park, I noticed that the new inclusive park looked pretty much completed. After doing some research, it looks like the new park will open on August 24! It has a gameboard-theme layout and it very large. Can’t wait to check it out! In Creve Coeur, two equipment purchases were unanimously were approved. This approval helps renew the body-worn cameras, vehicle video cameras, and four police patrol vehicles. Lastly, congratulations to Abby Carr from Lafayette who was named 2024-25 Gatorade Missouri Softball Player of the Year. She is not only a talented right-handed pitcher but also a great hitter. Congrats to her for being named best high school softball player in Missouri!!
WHAT WE’RE LOVING THIS WEEK
BUSINESS OF THE WEEK: Narwhal’s Crafted in The District in Chesterfield Valley! It’s still summer and this place is perfect to check out right now. They sell only beverages and set out to create perfect frozen cocktails. They have an extensive frozen cocktail list (and mocktails!), a full bar with specialty “on the rocks” drinks, frozen shots, local draft and craft beer and even treats for the dogs in your life. Out in the Valley they are conveniently located near the open greenspace of the HUB. They have two other locations in St. Charles and Midtown and will soon have one in Edwardsville, IL. Such an interesting concept and I can’t wait to try them out!! Let me know if you’ve already been here before.
