WEST COUNTY NEWS
On Saturday, April 25th, the DEA’s first National Drug Take Back Day will take place at several police stations/law enforcement locations between 10am-2pm. For a list of drop off locations, visit here. http://dea.gov/takebackday. A congratulations to the Town & Country Police Department on receiving the Patriotic Employer Award, which is presented by the U.S. Department of War Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve Office. I was unaware of what this award meant but learned it is awarded to those employers that who go above and beyond in supporting those employees who are in the National Guard and Reserve. When those employees need to leave for a mission, it definitely puts a strain on the employer. Town and Country Police Department showed great support to Officer Rosa Prewitt and her battalion during her deployment last year. Thank you to both Officer Prewitt and the T&C Police Department for your great service!
WHAT WE’RE LOVING THIS WEEK
BUSINESS OF THE WEEK: This week I’m highlighting Fresh & Faux!! Lucy Schmidt is the owner and she makes beautiful floral arrangements…both fresh and faux arrangements. She was one of the shops located in Painted Tree Boutiques. She will have a studio in Maplewood but is still in the process of finding a retail location. I love her story and her creations!
