FRIDAY, April 21st

• Homestead BBQ Blast @ 14897 Clayton Rd. (Homestead Mortgage Building-Chesterfield)- 5-11pm- This is Homestead’s first annual BBQ Blast Professional BBQ Competition.  Event is being put on by Burnt Crow which is a competition BBQ and event catering team.  There will be live music from Dr. Zhivegas from 7-11pm, a beer garden and food vendors. • French Creperie Ribbon Cutting Ceremony @ French Creperie (Chesterfield Valley)- 4-5pm- A delicious sounding event that includes samples of crepes just like the ones the French Owner grew up with.  Their official grand opening will be May 5th!  https://fb.me/e/2Xq5niHXJ

SATURDAY, April 22nd

• Crawfish Boil @ French Quarter Bar (Ballwin) – 11am-1am,  Join this fun party bar for their annual crawfish boil!   .https://fb.me/e/TYrr3cF8
• Chinese Culture Days 2023 @ Missouri Botanical Garden (Tower Grove South Area)- 9am through Sunday at 5pm- This is a highly anticipated event at the Missouri Botanical Gardens so wanted to share even though it’s not a West County event.  This event has been taking place since 1996 and allows you to experience Chinese cultural performances, music, art, and history while enjoying authentic cuisine.  https://fb.me/e/13Vr5HKA0
  
• Saturday Morning Road Rides @ The Hub Bicycle Company (Webster Groves)- 7:30-10:30am- This is a recurring event that I thought I’d highlight as this nice weather keeps on going.  The ride goes through roads in Webster Groves, Kirkwood, and Ladue.  All levels welcomed.  See link for more info. https://fb.me/e/17CmhyXfF
  

SUNDAY, April 23rd

• Spring Tram Tours @ Dr. Edmund A. Babler Memorial State Park (Wildwood)- 10am-12pm- Looking for a nice way to enjoy this spring weather we’ve been having?  This is perfect.  Take a tram ride around Babler and listen to a presentation on the history of Dr. Edmund A. • Resources, Recipes & Remedies: Life on the Frontier @ First Missouri State Capitol State Historic Site (St. Charles)- 12-4pm- If you love history and want to learn more about our local history, this would be a great event for you.  The First Missouri State Capitol State Historic Site Interpreters and University of Missouri- St. Louis graduate history students are hosting the event and will be doing an exploration of the early 19th century frontier. Lefty’s Bagels

The highly anticipated Lefty’s Bagels had their opening a little over a week ago and I’m happy to make them my featured business of the week. They are a New York style hand rolled bagel company. Nothing processed about these bagels…fresh ingredients, all hand rolled and baked on traditional burlap topped wooden bagel-boards. I can’t wait to try it! They are located in Chesterfield in the Woodchase Plaza Shopping Center right at 141 and Olive.  https://leftysbagels.com/
