WEST COUNTY NEWS

The historic Lyceum building in Manchester just reopened after a renovation specifically creating a space for community art.  An open house was held March 29 and people are really excited about having a space like this for the community.  Summer classes are available here too!  As you may or may not realize, this year marks the 75th anniversary of St. Louis County Parks & Recreation.  Lots of things have been going on this year celebrating it but thought I’d highlight some of the renovations happening…1)  Queeny Park is getting the much anticipated new playground this summer!  2)  Faust Park is getting a “new” historical building (a one room log cabin built in 1804) and last year they added Whimsical Woods that houses an artsy fairy garden.  3)  Greenfelder Park is reopening the Alpine Tower and ropes course that had been open but shut down after COVID.  We are so lucky to have so many wonderful parks in St. Louis County!!

I thought as Easter approaches, it would be a great idea to post a local bakery that makes amazing bakery goods for Easter.
