This week I’m highlighting The Foundry Bakery located in Maryland Heights!

They are an artisanal Taiwanese bread, pastry, and beverage restaurant.  I ran across their Facebook page and was drawn to all the delicious looking pastries.  I was not too familiar with what Taiwanese pastries were but after looking at this place, I definitely think I’d fall in love! 

Some examples of their pastries are mooncakes, golden kumquat gems, yuzu cookies, miso chocolate walnut cookies, egg tarts, panna cotta, baked cronuts, and crispy orange buns.   Breads include a berry trio walnut, umami burst, Taiwan toast, cherry chocolate and more.  Their menu is rounded out with fruit milk and teas.  

They have even been mentioned in The New York Times Style Magazine for their modern take on the classic Taiwanese pineapple cake.  Amazing!  Check them out!
