This week I’m highlighting Hi-Pointe Drive In!  With several locations around the St. Louis area, West County is fortunate to have a Ballwin location (A Little Hi.), Chesterfield, Cottleville, and Kirkwood locations.  Yesterday, 11/16 was National Fast Food Day so I wanted to be sure to highlight a local fast food place and this one definitely is one to highlight.  

The Hi-Pointe Drive In original location (the Hi-Pointe neighborhood) has been around since the 1980s.  Current chefs want to make sure their amazing burgers stay the highlight as they always have been but also their delicious sandwiches, shakes and salads.

The current Chef Johnson is no stranger to St. Louis.  He is the owner of Sugarfire and has also been associated with many other well known local restaurants like Cafe Mira, Boogaloo, and Barcelona.  

They use local ingredients where they can to not only support local but to be good to the environment but cutting down on shipments.  They use local bread, local beef, ice cream, and the list goes on.  

They have sister restaurants as well…Taco Buddha, Gastro Nauts, and Chicken Out.  If you haven’t tried these local gems, now is your excuse to try them!!
