This week I’m highlighting Dan’s Fan City in Ellisville!!  There is not one person I know that doesn’t like ceiling fans in their home.  It is often something that gets noted when I’m showing property, especially when we are viewing features in bedrooms.  Did you know that we have a specialty ceiling fan store in West County?  Now you do!! 

Dan’s Fan City is locally owned and operated and amazing at helping you find the perfect fan for your needs and budget.  Dan’s Fan City has a history that dates back to 1979 when Dan Hibbeln Sr. and Georgia Wood started the business after noticing a need for ceiling fans to help with energy savings and to keep homes relaxing and cool.  They opened originally in Clearwater Florida.  They now have around 38 stores, some being corporate owned and some owned independently.  The Ellisville location is one of those locally owned.  

There are definitely a lot of places to purchase fans but Dan’s Fan City will give you not only personalized service but also give you great flexibility and variety when it comes to designing the look of your fan.  Back in 1983, the owners purchased Gulf Coast Fans, which was a manufacturer of fans.  This allowed Dan and Georgia to have a hand in how fans were built and strengthened relationships with manufacturers which all equates to better fans and making a difference on delivering on what customers are really needing/wanting.
