This week I’m highlighting Bello’s Bakery in Des Peres! I thought as Easter approaches, it would be a great idea to post a local bakery that makes amazing bakery goods for Easter.  I know we’re getting close to Easter and that they may have limited selections but this place is worth mentioning!

For local Des Peres residents that have lived there for a while, you might remember a bakery in the same location called Schmiemeier’s Bakery.  It was a West County destination and loved my so many throughout the years.  It was eventually sold to Beni Bello, who was once a baker at the location and has been baking for 24 years.  The same recipes and quality live on today at Bello’s Bakery.  I personally purchase many sweet treats from here!  My favorite things are their iced sugar cookies and donuts.  They are just perfection!

Check them out for Easter or for any occasion!  You won’t be disappointed!
