Get excited!!  The Roadshow is coming to St. Louis on May 19.  If you’ve never watched the Antiques Roadshow, it’s a show where people bring objects they’ve collected over the years or found in flea markets to have an appraiser give their estimate of market value.  Some come to price it out to sell and some for insurance purposes.

It’s entertaining on many levels…the reactions to the appraisers estimate (either good or bad), learning about the history of the objects brought in, and hearing the stories of the owners of how they acquired the item and how much they originally paid for it.  

Admission to the roadshow is free but you do have to get tickets in advance.  There is a sweepstakes going on until March 24 you can register for as well.  Info and tickets here.
