WEST COUNTY NEWS

Parkway school district will be starting the process of searching for a new superintendent as Dr. Keith Marty will be retiring at the end of next June. They’ve hired a national search firm named Hazard, Young, Attea & Associates to help with this endeavor. Speaking of retirement, Maryville University located in Town and Country announced the retirement of Dr. Mark Lombardi who is currently the president of the university. He has grown the university exponentially which has resulted the university being named as one of the ten fastest growing private universities over the last several years.

BUSINESS OF THE WEEK: Sweet Mia Nail Spa located in Des Peres! It seems like there has been quite a number of nail salons opening up recently, especially in the Des Peres area. This one is unique because they pride themselves on being a non-toxic nail spa. They offer non-toxic nail polish only, make their own organic whipped cocoa body butter lotion, and use copper bowls for pedicures. Overall they really want it to feel like a spa rather than just another nail salon. The chairs recline and can elevate your legs. You can book appointments easily online too.
