This might be old news to some as it was announced about 2 months ago but for those that might not know…the new store concept called Eatwell Market by Schnucks that opened up a couple years ago in Chesterfield Valley in closing up.

It was a new concept featuring more natural and whole foods, organic and specialty items.  It officially closed on June 2 and employees were relocated to other stores.

Reading different forums, it appears many think that a more expensive type store like that couldn’t survive in the Valley where there are so many options for grocery from Walmart, Aldi, Target and Sam’s.

A news article from West Magazine quoted that their lease goes through 2028.  What type of store do you think would thrive out in Chesterfield Valley?
