Out in Chesterfield Valley, behind the Lowe’s, the city has decided to sell 16.95 acres to The Staenberg Group. The city is also receiving a donation of 16 acres of parkland from Lower Missouri River LLC along Long Road. Monarch Fire Department is seeking solutions to the ever rising EMS demands being put onto the department due to increase of senior care facilities and larger establishments like Top Golf, the Saint Louis Premium Outlet Mall, & Chesterfield Sports Complex. They also are in need of new equipment as existing equipment causes cancer (which has resulted in 3 deaths in the department). In sports news, Schweain steps down as Marquette boys basketball coach as he pursues new teaching ventures at Priory. Best of luck to him!
