In Ellisville, if you’d like to give feedback on what the Ellisville’s Park Board should improve in the eastern portion of Bluebird Park, join them at Bluebird park on April 22 at 7pm. They hope to apply and win a grant for the improvements and build them out in 4 phases over the next 4 years. Creve Coeir City Council passed 3 bills on April 8 that will be pushing forward the 96-acre Olia Village mixed-use project that they want to build on the former Bayer Campus. As with any change, some residents are opposed and some are looking forward to it. More to come on that I’m sure. In Manchester, they just passed a bill that will allow annual mental health check for police.
WHAT WE’RE LOVING THIS WEEK
Those dreaded words…”..there has been an identified case of head lice in your child’s classroom…”. 😬 Luckily, I haven’t received one of these notices in a while but if you ever have confirmed head lice in your family, my business of the week, Lice Busters St. Louis, is definitely one you need to know. It’s definitely not a happy hour spot but can definitely relieve some stress when it comes to having to deal with cleaning lice on a family member and in your home. they have several ways of ridding the lice including a non-toxic comb through product but also a heated air technology product.
