In Chesterfield, there was a proposal brought to the Town & Country Planning & Zoning Commission proposing an 80-home Woods Mill Center development (right there at Woods Mill & HWY 40). Plan would have homes range from $600K-$700K, average lot size of .05 acre, 1,346-3,000 sq ft inside, 8 feet off street and 6 feet in between houses. Also in Chesterfield at the Sophia M. Sachs Butterfly House in Faust Park, a new scientific discovery was made…a mutant cockroach (named Harvey) was found. He is believed to have 2 sets of male DNA, which is extremely rare. He has two distinct colorations and experts say this is a “once-in-a-lifetime” experience. In Town & Country, Longview Park went under construction with its new playground. Expected to be rolled out and completed this summer.
WHAT WE’RE LOVING THIS WEEK
Am I the only person who hasn’t heard about this place yet? My business of the week is Chicken N Pickle in St. Charles! They have several locations across the US and this is the first one in our area. The concept is indoor/outdoor entertainment including pickleball, ping pong, cornhole, and shuffleboard. They also have a sports bar and restaurant that tries to source food locally and believes in fresh, clean food. Looks like such a fun place to meet with family and friends!
