FRIDAY, May 26th

• St. Louis County Greek Festival @ Assumption Greek Orthodox Church (Des Peres)- ALL Weekend Long through Monday (F-S-S 11am-9pm & M-11am to 4pm)- A highly anticipated yearly event, this Greek fest has everything you want…amazing food, live music and folk dancing.  All I need to hear is that they have baklava and I’m there! 🙂   https://fb.me/e/2QCs0zAlT
  
• Run, Forrest, Run @ Westport Social (Maryland Heights)- 8pm-12am- I’ll admit it, the name totally jumped out of me when I was searching for events.  Who doesn’t love that movie?!?!  They are a 90s cover band and this Friday will be their first time at Westport.  Go support our local bands!  https://fb.me/e/2yLE4F55d
• 2023 Missouri River Irish Festival @ Lewis & Clark Boat House and Museum (St. Charles)- Starts FRI at 5pm and goes through Sunday (check out link for the exact times of events)- This is a very popular event that celebrates all things Irish!  It’s the 17th year and they have music, games, food, Irish Pub, plus a children’s area.  Fun time for sure!  https://fb.me/e/3jIIEvn9k

SATURDAY, May 27th

SUNDAY, May 28th

• R&N @ Parkside Grille (Wildwood)- 1-4pm- Rogers & Nienhaus make up the band R&N and are amazingly talented artists.  They are known for their harmonies and can be seen all over St. Louis and have made a great name for themselves.  Check them out at the wonderful Parkside Grille this Sunday!   https://fb.me/e/4bPhFjFtI
• L.G.S. @ Grants Farm Summer Nights (South off Gravios)- 6-9pm- I know this is South of West County but this is a fun event, especially for both the kids and adults.  Grant’s Farm has their Summer Nights every Friday and Saturday during the summer months and on holidays.  There is live music, food, dancing and of course, all the fun Grant’s Farm normally offers.  It has a wonderful laid-back feel and so much fun! MONDAY, May 29th

• Memorial Day Ceremony @ Vlasis Park (Ballwin)- 11:15am- Are you looking for a way to pay tribute in a special way to those that have died for our country?  If so, the VFW POST 6274, City of Ballwin, and Ballwin Historical Commission are holding a Memorial Day service at the World Peace Memorial in Vlasis Park. https://fb.me/e/X6oujeoH
• Manchester Memorial Day Remembrance Service @ Margaret Stoecker Park (Manchester)- 10am- Another great event to remember those who have died for our freedom!  This event will have a bald eagle from World Bird Sanctuary, Manchester Community Band, Flags of Valor, families presenting Memorial wreaths and speakers from the US Navy Reserve, Veterans Commission and US Commander.  https://fb.me/e/2uIqEh15p

FEATURED WEST COUNTY BUSINESS

Buzzetta Italian Cafe

This week I’m highlighting a coming soon business called Buzzetta Italian Cafe!  As the name implies, they will be an Italian restaurant serving fresh ingredient recipes inspired by southern Italy.  The restaurant is part of the Manno restaurant family which includes the popular restaurants of Paul Manno’s, John Mineo’s, and Il Bel Lago.  I absolutely love Italian food, so I’m very excited.  It will be located in Chesterfield Valley, right next to Lacefield music and Oishi Sushi.  Expected to open in June of this year.  I’ll keep you posted on more details on my Facebook page!
