I get asked pretty much on a daily basis how the market is…my answer is still staying steady at low inventory and high demand.

We’re seeing low days on market, multiple offers and low inventory in Chesterfield and surrounding areas. You can see on the left that Chesterfield still has less than a month worth of inventory.  The Days on Market is 21 but that average is skewed a little from some new construction homes that tend to sit a little while being built.  Prices have increased since last May as you can see with the 106% year over year price increase.

You may be seeing some more homes popping up but there is a still a steady stream of new buyers flooding the market in hopes of finding something. The current inventory can’t keep up with the new buyers coming in.
