In Chesterfield, two major road projects that have been discussed had an open house with public works personnel to answer questions regarding them. One is have an access interchange between Long Road and HWY 64 and the other is a connection between North Outer 40 and Chesterfield Valley. Both will help ease traffic issues and cut down on accidents. Applications for grants for these large projects are underway. In Ballwin, the Ballwin Board of Aldermen approved to sign up for the 2026 version of Saint Louis County Waste Reduction Grant Program. This grant will help with programs like free recycling and shredding events and now in 2026, they hope to add two paint recycle events. Congratulations is in order for Megan Bishop who was awarded a Citizen Service Citation from the Town and Country Police Department and West County EMS & Fire Prorection District for saving a life at Cadet Park recently! She provided resuscitation to the person until EMS arrived and saved their life as a result. Great job!!
