I definitely have a sweet tooth and love cake!  I’m happy to report that today, November 26, is National Cake Day.  An excuse to eat cake!  And why not have a few more calories before Thanksgiving?   Haha  I’ve compiled a list of places to grab some amazing cake in and around West County.  Enjoy!!

• Bello’s Bakery in Des Peres: A popular bakery in Des Peres that has Beni Bello as the baker, who has been baking for over 24 years.  Love their cakes but also their donuts and cookies!  https://www.bellosbakery.com/
• Sarah’s Cake Shop in Chesterfield & Eureka: Well known for their cakes, cake pops and cupcakes and do a great wedding cake business.  They started in 2003 and have been serving delicious desserts ever since!  https://www.sarahscakeshopstl.com/

• Seb & Jams in Fenton:  This bakery does not have a storefront but you order online and pickup in Fenton.  Started in 2022 and has a strong following of cake lovers.  https://sebandjamsbakery.com/
• La Bonne Bouchée Patisserie & Cafe in Creve Coeur:  A French bakery that serves amazing pastries and beautiful cakes.  They have these fruit topped cakes that look too beautiful to eat.  https://labonnebouchee.com/
• Celebrating Life Cakes in Town and Country: Another great bakery that does traditional cakes and wedding cakes.  They also have a space you can rent out for parties.  https://www.celebratinglifecakes.com/

• Kim’s Bakery in Chesterfield:  A unique Korean bakery serving delicious and unique bakery items and cakes.https://kimsbakerystl.com/
• Cakery Bakery in Dogtown:  Yes, not exactly West County but I personally have used them for every child birthday and they remain one of the best in my opinion.  Love their buttercream, moist cake and it doesn’t need to be refrigerated!  https://thecakerybakery.net/
