Congratulations to Aayushi Bore and Avyukth Raghuraman who are Lafayette High School students and members of the Wildwood’s Student Route 66 Task Force. They recently presented at the 2025 Missouri Preservation Conference and did an amazing job. Their message to them was how important it is to involve youth in the leadership of cities. Great job guys! If you frequent Boone Bridge often, you are probably ready for that construction to be done. Recently you may have noticed that over the weekend, they returned traffic back to the original configuration of the westbound lanes. The far left lane will still be closed for a while as they work on the median barrier wall however. Crews will be removing the temporary barrier wall going eastbound over this week and next and they say the transition will be done by Nov. 25th. That would be exciting!
