Outside of ice cream, anything chocolate is my absolute favorite!!  I have always been more of a chocolate candy girl rather than the fruity and sour candies.  I’m happy to report that yesterday, October 28, was National Chocolate Day.  Why am I happy?  It gives us an excuse to eat chocolate of course!  Haha  I’ve compiled a list of places to grab some amazing chocolate in West County.  Enjoy!!

• Chocolate, Chocolate, Chocolate in Kirkwood plus other locations: A local icon in chocolates, starting their business in 1981.  They use fresh and natural ingredients and sell their candy all over.  They also do factory tours!  https://www.chocolatechocolate.com/
• The Caramel House in Olivette: They are known for their caramels, as you could guess from the name, but they do have chocolate covered caramels, chocolate turtles, and toffee. https://thecaramelhouse.com/
• Bissinger’s in Frontenac: Their chocolate is all over but there is an actual storefront in Frontenac and Galleria malls.  They have some of the highest quality chocolate and sooo much variety to choose from.  https://www.bissingers.com/
• Bijoux in Webster Groves:  Handcrafted, small batch, local chocolate that is not only delicious but beautiful to look at.  Check out their video on their website of how they make the chocolate.  https://www.bijouxchocolates.com/
• Nathaniel Reed Bakery in Kirkwood: Amazing French bakery that not only does pastries but has a small, delicious section of chocolates.  A must try! https://www.nrbakery.com/
• Riverside Sweets in St. Charles: 25 year plus candy and ice cream shop that knows how to do everything sweet.  The have not only chocolate but ice cream, candy, drinks and gifts. It’s the cutest shop!  https://www.riversidesweets.net/
