A big shoutout to St. Joseph’s Academy volleyball team that raised more than $12,000 for the nonprofit called Nora’s Sparkle of Love Project and The Side-Out Foundation. Side-Out supports breast cancer research and Nora’s Sparkle’s Love Project supports pediatric brain cancer research. My niece actually went to school with the sweet Nora who died this past March at the age of 7 to a rare brain cancer. What a great fundraising event for great organizations! In Creve Coeur, several stormwater projects were approved by city council. Great thing for residents that have to deal with roadway and yard flooding. Check out the cities website for more details. Lastly, a congrats to Praveen Tallam from Town and Country that received the first Good Neighbor Award. This award is something new Town and Country is doing in honor of its 75th anniversary but they say it will continue years to come. Always great to have a great neighbor!!
