If you remember, I wrote a while ago about West County Lanes and their struggles with staying in business given the damage to the roof back in January due to heavy snow. The community has definitely rallied behind them and they are hoping to be open by November. Hopefully this West County landmark will be open for business soon! A great event to check out this month is the Battle of the Bands. Throughout September (9/3, 9/10, 9/17, & 9/24) local bands will be competing with proceeds going to local charities. It will take place at The Factory STL in Chesterfield. Those that want to participate would buy a $5 voting ticket for their favorite band. Each week has a different charity tied to it. WHAT WE’RE LOVING THIS WEEK
BUSINESS OF THE WEEK: Ju Ju Bs in St. Charles!! Headed over to St. Charles for this week’s business and it couldn’t be more adorable! They are a fashion boutique that specializes in clothing and accessories. The owners, Julie & Beth, have been doing this since 2004 and have Ju Ju Bs but also MJs that carries women’s fashion, gifts, patch bar for hats and permanent jewelry. They also have a great section for game day wear…lots of Mizzou stuff!
