Excitement this week in Chesterfield as they just opened the new playground at Chesterfield’s Central Park. It’s bigger, brighter, and more accessible now for all types of children with varying abilities. They partnered with a company called Play & Park Structures. I look forward to checking it out with my kiddos! Creve Coeur residents are seeing a new trash company now…Republic Services began on July 1. There has been a large increase in costs for waste and recyclable pickup. Because of this, the city recently passed a bill that amended what residents pay for non-basic pickup services like yard waste. Residents will have to contact Republic directly to set those services up.

BUSINESS OF THE WEEK: This week I’m highlighting Fleur De Chic in Chesterfield!! I sometimes get stuck in a rut of always highlighting local restaurants so thought I’d change it up this week and highlight a local shop. Fleur De Chic is an adorable little shop filled with vintage style painted furniture and home decor and even unique personal gift items. The store is so charming and the best part is that she partners with local small business owners to sell their homemade or refurbished items.
