WEST COUNTY NEWS

Chesterfield, yet again, has more news of growth and development. A multi-sport complex located east of Eatherton Road and south of Wings Corporate Drive was just approved. It will include cricket fields, pickleball courts and sand volleyball courts. No details on opening date but things are moving along. A congratulations in is order for another amazing West County high school athlete…congrats to Maya Witherspoon who was just named 2024-25 Gatorade Missouri Volleyball Player of the Year!! Amazing!

WHAT WE’RE LOVING THIS WEEK

BUSINESS OF THE WEEK: This week it’s The Caramel House located in Olivette! This place is amazing and has been featured in many of our local publications like Feast Magazine, Sauce Magazine and St. Louis Magazine. Janet Shulman is the owner of this yummy place that specializes in small batch salted caramels. They are way more than just caramels though…caramel apples, popcorn, chocolate dipped strawberries, bourbon caramel, caramel and marshmallow sandwich cookies, smothered pretzel sticks, English toffee, Liquid Gold caramel sauce, chocolate turtles and the list continues! They also have hotel welcome totes for those guests coming in town for a wedding or special event, corporate gifts, and lots of gift options.
