WEST COUNTY NEWS

The long standing place of worship called New Community Church on Manchester Road in Town Center of Wildwood is now moving to a new location in Chesterfield. They had a full proposal to Wildwood for adding more space for their growing church, which was approved in 2022. However, they are still moving locations. More to come for plans of that current space. Parkway School District has a new superintendent that will start on July 1. A new superintendent was needed after Dr. Keith Marty, who has been leading the district for the past 14 years, is set to retire. Dr. Melissa Schneider from Loveland, Colorado was hired for the job. She has 27 years of experience in education and is also in the top 5% of female triathletes worldwide! Welcome to Parkway!

WHAT WE’RE LOVING THIS WEEK

BUSINESS OF THE WEEK: Miss Becky’s Salsa Shack!! I ran across this local vendor while looking at different vendors at the local Wildwood farmers market and I had to highlight this one. She is a favorite there…who doesn’t LOVE a good salsa?!?! I know I do and can’t wait to try this out. She not only makes freshly made fire roasted salsa but also fresh tortilla chips.
