Summer is flying by and 4th of July is almost here!  I’ve compiled a list of some amazing 4th of July events to check out in West County.

Chesterfield Events:

•  Chesterfield Stars & Stripes Runs:  There is are 5K and 10K races starting at 8:30am on Thursday July 4th.  They start at the Chesterfield Valley Athletic Complex.  All ages are welcome!  Chesterfield Stars & Stripes Run Link
• Chesterfield Fireworks Celebration: Also at the Chesterfield Valley Athletic Complex will be the annual Fireworks Celebration starting at 6pm.  There will be live music, food trucks, a kid’s area with inflatables, games, and a petting zoo.  The party band, Fat Pocket will be playing right before the fireworks display at 9pm.   https://www.chesterfield.mo.us/4th-of-july.html

Ellisville Events:

• Bluebird Park Celebration:  At 7pm on July 4th Ellisville will have their annual celebration.  Live music from Griffin & The Gargoyles will perform and there will be BBQ, food and drink vendors.  Fireworks will start at 9:15.  There are some parking passes that can be purchased online at https://ellisville.recdesk.com/Community/Program .
• Pathfinder Church Celebration:  This is another option to view the Bluebird fireworks on July 4th.  Party starts at 6pm and there will be live music, free food and kid-friendly games.

Eureka Events:

• Independence Day Celebration:  Starting at 6pm on July 4th, Eureka will host their fireworks celebration at Central Avenue Spur.  Festivities include live music and local food trucks.  The fireworks display will be pyro-musical meaning it will be set to live music playing on the stage.  That will end of the night at 9:15pm.  https://www.eureka.mo.us/210/Independence-Day-Celebration
• Six Flags Coca-Cola 4th of July Celebration:  The park will be lit in red, white and blue each day July 4-6.  Fireworks display will end each evening at 9:05pm.  Park is open from 11am-9pm.  https://www.sixflags.com/stlouis/events/coca-cola-july-4th-fest

Manchester Events:

• Shroeder Park:  Celebration is from 6-9pm and will have live music from Butchwax and the Hollywoods and will end with a fireworks display.  Food and beer sales will be available until 9pm. https://www.manchestermo.gov/796/Fourth-of-July-Celebration
• Methodist Church Fireworks & Concessions:  This is another viewing sight for the Manchester fireworks display.  There will be various food vendors including Ted Drewes frozen custard.  https://manchesterumc.org/events/fireworks/
• Flags of Valor: All throughout the day of July 4th at the Veterans’ Memorial in Margaret Stoecker Park there will be a collection of flags each holding a dog tag and photo of a service member who died on 9/11.  A great way to honor our fallen heroes.  https://manchestermo.gov/Calendar.aspx?EID=3228
• Veteran and Veteran Families Appreciation Day:  On July 4th from 11am-7:30pm, there is free pool entry at the Manchester Aquatic Center for veterans and their families.  https://www.manchestermo.gov/942/Appreciation-Days-at-the-Pool

Twin Oaks Event:

• Twin Oaks Fireworks Display:  This is a day early on July 3rd from 6-9:30pm at Twin Oaks Park.  Live music from The Scott Laytham and Karl Homes duo.  Bring your own food and drink.  Fireworks start at 9:15pm.  https://www.cityoftwinoaks.com/calendar/upcoming

O’Fallon Event:

• Heritage & Freedom Fest:  Kicks off on July 3 with a carnival which will have all the fun rides, games and traditional food.  On July 4th well known singer Bret Michaels will be performing a free concert and on July 5th Mitchel Tenpenny will perform.  The festival will also have one of the largest parades in our area starting at the corner of Main Street and Civic Pride Drive at 9L30am on July 4th. Kirkwood Event:

• Freedom Festival:  On July 4th, enjoy Kirkwood’s annual Independence Day celebration with live music, food trucks and a fireworks display.  Food trucks start at 5pm, live music at 7pm and fireworks at dark in Kirkwood Park. https://www.kirkwoodmo.org/our-city/festivals/kirkwood-freedom-festival-fireworks

Maryland Heights Event:

• Independence Day:  Celebrate Independence Day on July 6th at Westport Plaza starting at 3pm.  There will be live music, face painting, caricatures, magic shows and a pie eating contest.  Fireworks will conclude it at 9pm.  You can enjoy it all on their new Green Space lawn or on top of the Gold Tower.  https://www.westportstl.com/event/independence-day/

St. Charles Event:
